User Agreement
This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legally binding contract between you ("User", "you", or "your")
and THREATBOOK PTE. LTD. ("ThreatBook", "we", "our", or "us") governing your access to
and use of the ThreatBook ATI mobile application and related services.
Important: By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ThreatBook ATI, you
acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this User Agreement and our
Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms,
you must immediately discontinue use of the application.
This Agreement takes effect when you first access, download, install, or use ThreatBook ATI, whichever
occurs first. Your continued use of the application constitutes ongoing acceptance of this Agreement
and any subsequent amendments.
This Agreement incorporates by reference our Privacy Policy,
which describes how we handle your personal data, and any additional terms specific to features or
services within the application. In the event of any conflict, this Agreement governs over other
materials unless expressly stated otherwise.
To use ThreatBook ATI, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the services under applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- Not have been previously suspended or removed from ThreatBook ATI by us
If you are accessing the application on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you
represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to this Agreement. In such case,
"you" and "your" refer to both you and that entity.
ThreatBook ATI is a professional cybersecurity tool intended for security professionals. Use by
individuals without appropriate professional context or purpose is discouraged.
ThreatBook ATI provides a suite of cyber threat intelligence services, including:
3.1 Threat Intelligence Search
Users may query ThreatBook's threat intelligence databases using indicators such as IP addresses,
domain names, file hashes (MD5, SHA1, SHA256), and vulnerability identifiers (CVE). Results include
reputation scores, threat classifications, associated indicators, and risk assessments.
3.2 Threat Reports
Curated threat intelligence reports authored by ThreatBook security researchers, covering malware
campaigns, threat actor activities, and emerging cyber threat landscapes.
3.3 Threat Actor Intelligence
Profiles of known threat actors, including background information, associated campaigns, malware
toolsets, and related infrastructure indicators.
3.4 Security Alerts
Real-time push notifications for new threat reports and vulnerability disclosures, subject to user
notification preferences and device permissions.
ThreatBook reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire service
at any time, with or without notice, and shall not be liable for any such modification or discontinuation.
4.1 Account Creation
Certain features of ThreatBook ATI may require you to create an account. You agree to provide
accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to maintain and promptly update
your account information.
4.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for
all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Use a strong, unique password and enable any available multi-factor authentication
- Notify us immediately at app@threatbook.cn of any unauthorized use of your account
- Not share your credentials with any third party
- Log out of your account after each session on shared devices
4.3 Account Responsibility
ThreatBook shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with
these account security obligations. You are responsible for all activities and queries performed
under your account credentials.
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, ThreatBook grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, revocable license to access and use ThreatBook ATI for lawful, professional
cybersecurity purposes, including:
- Investigating security incidents and potential intrusions within your organization
- Threat hunting and proactive security research
- Vulnerability assessment and risk analysis
- Security operations center (SOC) monitoring and triage
- Academic and professional cybersecurity research
- Developing threat intelligence reports for legitimate security purposes
All use of ThreatBook ATI must comply with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction,
including laws governing cybersecurity, data protection, computer access, and export controls.
You agree not to use ThreatBook ATI for any of the following prohibited purposes:
Conducting, facilitating, or enabling unauthorized access to computer systems or networks
Developing or distributing malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious software
Targeting, harassing, or stalking individuals using intelligence data
Violating any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the application
Automated bulk querying, scraping, or data mining without prior written consent
Reselling, sublicensing, or commercializing access to the service without authorization
Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation
Attempting to bypass, circumvent, or disable any security features or access controls
Using the service for purposes that could damage ThreatBook's reputation or operations
Zero Tolerance: Any use of ThreatBook ATI to facilitate illegal activities,
support cyberattacks, or harm individuals or organizations will result in immediate account
termination and may be referred to law enforcement authorities.
7.1 ThreatBook's IP
ThreatBook ATI, including its application code, threat intelligence databases, reports, content,
design, user interface, trademarks, logos, and all related intellectual property, are the exclusive
property of THREATBOOK PTE. LTD. or its licensors. All rights not expressly granted in this
Agreement are reserved.
You are granted no rights in or to the ThreatBook name, logos, or trademarks. Unauthorized use of
ThreatBook's intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
7.2 Threat Intelligence Content
The threat intelligence data, reports, and analysis provided through ThreatBook ATI are proprietary
research products. You may use query results and reports for internal professional purposes but may
not:
- Republish or redistribute intelligence content to third parties without attribution and written permission
- Incorporate ThreatBook intelligence data into competing products or services
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
7.3 Feedback
If you submit suggestions, feedback, or ideas regarding ThreatBook ATI, you grant ThreatBook a
perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, incorporate, and exploit such
feedback without compensation or restriction.
Any indicators, notes, or other content you submit to ThreatBook ATI (collectively, "User Content")
remain your property. By submitting User Content, you grant ThreatBook a limited license to process
and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the requested services.
You represent and warrant that: (a) you have all necessary rights to submit User Content; (b) User
Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws; and (c) you are authorized to
query information submitted (e.g., you have legitimate reasons to investigate the IPs or domains
you search for).
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THREATBOOK ATI AND ALL RELATED SERVICES ARE
PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES
OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
THREATBOOK EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components
- Warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of threat intelligence data
- Warranties that query results will detect all threats or prevent any security incident
No Guarantee of Results: Threat intelligence is inherently probabilistic. ThreatBook ATI
provides information to support security decision-making but does not guarantee that its data is complete,
current, or sufficient for any particular security objective. Users remain solely responsible for their
security decisions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THREATBOOK PTE. LTD., ITS
AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill
- Business interruption or loss of anticipated savings
- Damages arising from reliance on threat intelligence data or analysis
- Security incidents or breaches that occur despite use of the application
WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY,
EVEN IF THREATBOOK HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN JURISDICTIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, THREATBOOK'S
TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THREATBOOK
IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (b) ONE HUNDRED SINGAPORE DOLLARS (SGD 100).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless THREATBOOK PTE. LTD., its affiliates, licensors,
officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations,
losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your access to or use of ThreatBook ATI
- Your violation of this Agreement
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Any User Content you submit to the application
12.1 Termination by You
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by deleting your account (if applicable) and
uninstalling ThreatBook ATI from all your devices. Termination does not entitle you to any refund
for unused paid subscription time, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
12.2 Termination by ThreatBook
ThreatBook may suspend or terminate your access to ThreatBook ATI immediately and without prior
notice if we reasonably believe that you have:
- Violated any provision of this Agreement
- Engaged in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful conduct
- Failed to pay applicable subscription fees
- Posed a risk to the security or integrity of our systems
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your license to use ThreatBook ATI is revoked, and you must cease all use.
Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, and all provisions that by their nature should survive termination
shall continue to apply.
13.1 Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the
Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or the breach,
termination, or invalidity thereof, shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith
negotiation between the parties.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, either party may
submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration
Centre (SIAC) in accordance with its Arbitration Rules. The seat of arbitration shall be Singapore,
the language of arbitration shall be English, and the arbitral award shall be final and binding.
13.3 Class Action Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any disputes shall be resolved
on an individual basis and not as a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.
13.4 Injunctive Relief
Notwithstanding the foregoing, ThreatBook reserves the right to seek injunctive or other equitable
relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm arising from violations of
this Agreement.
ThreatBook reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. When we make material changes,
we will provide notice through one or more of the following methods:
- Displaying a prominent notice within the ThreatBook ATI application
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document
- Sending a notification to your registered email address (if applicable)
Continued use of ThreatBook ATI after the effective date of any modification constitutes your
acceptance of the updated Agreement. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must
discontinue use of the application.
For material changes that significantly affect your rights, we will seek renewed consent where
required by applicable law.
